Our Founder 

 

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I have developed a deep personal connection to the cause of sickle cell disease. Having witnessed my younger sister Robin's ongoing battle with this condition for over 30 years, I have gained a profound understanding of the daily challenges faced by individuals living with this debilitating disease. In recognition of the vital support network required, I established the RoAsia Foundation to amplify the voices of those affected by sickle cell disease. Guided by my sister's enduring spirit, the foundation is dedicated to advocating, educating, and raising awareness not only within our local community, but also on a global scale. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact because every individual's well-being matters. #BecauseItMatters
